#MakeItHappen

I am not a golf professional nor am I a golf expert. What I am is a lover of golf and a dedicated student of the game. I created this blog to share my forever-developing swing thoughts and on-course tales. I care a lot about golf and work hard to get better every day, but it is quite the long road filled with endless speed bumps. Golf can be incomprehensibly frustrating at times, and that’s what I love about it. I might never get where I want to be, I might never hit that 300-yard drive or break 80 – or break 90 for that matter – but I’ll never stop chasing it.

Because of the amount of people who play the game, golfers receive more advice and tips, most of it misguided or downright false, and that’s what this blog is about. My swing is perpetually evolving and I am constantly tweaking with it, which results in me trying out a lot of new things. Some of it sticks, some of it gets abandoned. The goal of this blog is to share my swing thoughts, of which there are many, and hopefully spark discussion on what works for people and what doesn’t. I feel as though I am unique in this arena because, unlike all those other online golf people who have probably been good at golf their whole lives, I fully understand what it’s like to be maddeningly mediocre at it, because I still am.

Success is not a straight line – As with a golf course, hazards abound and we will inevitably find ourselves in them, and my hope for anyone who reads this blog is to get better at golf and achieve success, just like I am trying to do. Together, we will #MakeItHappen!
